When using a “Custom-price” special product, ExtraClub prompts you to enter a name and a price for the product when you click on it. It can be useful when you need to enter the payment of a product that has not been previously saved or to save the payment of custom fees.
When you are at the cash register and click on a custom-price product, a window will open. It contains several boxes:
Product name: You can enter the name of the product the way you want it to appear on the ticket/receipt.
Price: Enter the price (tax included) of the product or fee you want to sell.
Tax rate: Choose the tax rate that will be applied to the product.
Attention, every time you will send this product, it will add up to the statistics of the custom product, its category and its countable family. Please read the example for more information.
Usually, clubs create only one custom-price product. It is often called “miscellaneous” and put in the “miscellaneous” category of the “shop” countable family.
Let us imagine that I sell a T-shirt that I had not entered in the products so I type “White T-shirt (L)” in the name box, €30 in the price box and 19.6% in the Tax box.
Then, I sell a custom reservation so I type in “Special reservation”, €25 and 19.6%.
In the statistics, these two sales will have the same name (miscellaneous) and will be in the same category and countable family.
If you want to show the difference between the two in the statistics, you need to create several custom-price products, for instance:
“Shop miscellaneous” in the “miscellaneous” category, in the “shop” countable family.
“Reservation miscellaneous” in the “miscellaneous” category, in the “reservation” countable family.
“Member miscellaneous” in the “miscellaneous” category, in the “member” countable family
…
This method will allow you to get more relevant statistics.
