Purpose

The type of hour range is used to apply different prices according to the hour or other parameters. This is very useful to set up prices for “peak hours” and “off-peak hours”.

What is a "type of hour range" made for?

This notion is used to set up a special price that depends on the time of the day for a specific type of member, court or field or type of reservation. Only clubs applying peak and off-peak hours use this function.

Where can I manage the types of hour ranges?

Adding, editing or deleting

You can add, edit or delete a type of hour range in the “Reservation” section, then in the “Settings” module and in the “Types of hour ranges” menu.

Defining the associated rules

You can define the rules associated with a reservation type in the “Reservation” section, then in the “Parameters” and in the “Hour ranges” and “Prices” menus.

Applying the associated rules

The rules are applied when a reservation is made.

Characteristics of a type of hour range

Name: The name is used every time the notion is used.

Color: The color was used on the schedules in ExtraClub V.3 to show Peak hours and Off-peak hours. As the new schedule has been implemented, this function is no longer available. It will soon disappear because people do not really use it.

Order: Order in which types of hour ranges are displayed on a list.

Examples of use

Golf

So far, no golf has used this notion. Only the default type of hour range is required.

Tennis

So far, no tennis club has used this notion. Only the default type of hour range is required.

Squash

This notion is commonly used in squash. Usually we can find:

In this case, the default type of hour range is almost never used.

This will allow you to define only peak hours; all the other hour ranges will have the “default” type. This is usually easier for you to set up.

Multisport club

Futsal / Indoor soccer

Fitness
