Units can be used as a loyalty program. Your members earn points and they can use them to win products or to pay for fees that have a specific value in units.
On the product's details, you specify the price in Euros and the number of units (=points) the client will earn when buying the product. When you sell the product to someone, his or her units (or points) balance will increase by this number.
In your products, you can define a loyalty gift category where you can add products worth €0 but having a negative value in units. So, you will be able to offer these gifts to your clients when they have enough points or units on their balance. You can do as if it was a regular sale and choose the “balance” means of payment and the points will be taken out of the balance.
You can also adapt the number of units for a single product according to the member type (see discount prices). It is also possible to offer gifts which require both points and money.
Some clubs create a fake money that they use for all or just a part of their activity. If you use this solution, your members or clients will not have to take out their wallet all time to pay and this encourages consumption. Moreover, when the prices rise, you actually increase the products' price in units so the client does not feel the rise as much.
This is very simple.
You sell unit packages for a given price in Euros. Then, define prices for all the products or fees that you want to manage with this fake money. To do this, you need to create products costing €0 and a negative value in units which will be the price in units.
Discover the card-to-account product. It allows you to buy one or several units packages and to assign them to different people.
You can also customize the name used. Call us to change the word “Units” to “YC$” (Your Club Dollar).
The units system can be used as a counter. It allows you to offer special discounts when buying several reservations, products or fees at the same time but also to monitor how the client is going to use them. For instance, your client buys 10 for the price of 9 and he or she can follow-up the consumption in the member area just like you can follow it up at the cash register.
This is very simple.
You create products which feed this counter using the units/points awarded on the products' details and you can create other products which will take the units on this counter using a negative value of points awarded on a product worth €0.
To add points/units to a balance or to a counter, you need to create a product awarding units in the “add product” menu, in the “Products” module of the “Shop” section.
For clients to use their points/units, you need to create a product costing €0 but having a negative value in points/units (in the “add product” menu, in the “Products” module of the “Shop” section) or a reservation price in units (in the “Prices” menu, in the “Parameters” module of the “Reservation” section).
For instance, a product costing €30 will bring in 30 points. A free reservation is 150 points; a T-shirt of the club is worth 250 points… The loyalty of your clients is rewarded!
Buying a one-year subscription allows your member to have 3 free Green Fees.
Buying a €50 Green Fee product with a bonus of 1 unit will add up a Green Fee to the balance. When receiving the payment of a reservation, select the “Use Green Fee” product costing €0 but worth -1 unit. This will take one unit out of the Green Fee balance.
a 2-bucket product costing €3.9 and giving 2 units
a 5-bucket product costing €8 and giving 8 units
a 10-bucket product costing €15 and giving 10 units
a product called “use of a bucket” costing €0 but costing 1 unit
When the member uses his or her member card at the ball dispenser (you will need to set up card readers and smart cards with ExtraClub), one bucket is taken out of his or her ball-bucket balance.
You sell a “10 classes” or “10 games” product costing €100 with a bonus of 10 units that will add up to the person’s balance.
When the person comes to the club, you sell him or her a “use of free class” or “use of free game” product costing €0 but with a negative value of units (-1): this will take a unit out of the person’s balance.
