Purpose

Cash transactions are used to correct mistakes made at the cash register (such as overpayments or shortfalls in payments) or to take cash from the drawer to make purchases for the club. It is also possible to make a cash withdrawal from the drawer to take it to the bank if there is a lot of money at the club. A cash deposit can also be used to add change to the drawer.

How can I go to this page?

You can add cash transactions using the cash register interface in the Shop Section then by clicking on “Cash transactions”.

How does it work?

Cash transactions

Adding a cash transaction

To make a cash transaction, you only need to enter the amount of money you want to take from or put back into the drawer. Then, select the type of transaction. If you are taking money, this is a cash withdrawal. If you are putting money into the drawer, this is a cash deposit.
Then, enter the date and time of the transaction.
Finally, you can enter a comment on the “Comment” field.

To finish, click on “Confirm”.

History of transactions before closing the drawer out

This table displays the list of cash transactions that have been made since the last drawer closing. Here, you can see them but you cannot edit them. You need to go to the “List of tickets” menu and select the right cash deposit or cash withdrawal to edit it.

Examples

An employee may need to buy gas to use a cart at the club. To do so, he or she can take 50 Euros to put gas (cash withdrawal) and put the change back into the drawer (cash deposit).

Moreover, you can take 10 50-euro bills to take them to the bank and bring € 21.50 in change.

You can also correct mistakes, for instance, if € 1 is missing or if there's one too many.
