Where can I edit my account?

To edit your personal information, you can click at the top of the screen, on the first tab entitled “My account”. A page similar to the example below appears:

This page is composed of a main part with a white background where information is displayed.
On the left, you can see a box where you can edit your password and your username (if available). You cannot click on the “Edit my personal information” tab as it corresponds to the page currently displayed.

What can I do on this page?

Here, you can:

  • edit some of your personal information
  • download a file containing all your receipts (for reservations or purchases)
  • edit you password

When you click on the “Edit” button (as shown on the screen shot above), you will see a page as the following:

This page allows you to:

  • download or change your photo
  • add or edit your mailing address
  • add or edit other contact information (phone number, e-mail address…)

Download a photo

This feature is not available to everyone.

Clubs using smart cards or access control systems usually print these photos on cards. That is why it is necessary to use a real photo. It will be used to identify you at the entrance. Therefore, avoid using the picture of your pet or of a landscape.

To add a photo, you first need to choose if you want to upload an existing photo or if you want to take a new one using a webcam.

To upload a photo, click on “Upload file”. A new field appears and prompts you to add the file by clicking on “Browse”.
Search for the photo you want to add on your hard drive. Generally, photos and pictures are stored in the “Images” folder. When you have selected your photo, the path to the picture (usually “C:\Users\…”) appears in the field. Then, choose if the rights of publicity apply or not. This field determines if the picture can be seen by other members or not. If you allow other members to see your photo, choose “yes”, otherwise, choose “no”. To save your changes, click on the “Confirm” button at the bottom of the page.

To take a photo using your webcam, click on “Use webcam” then follow the instructions. The webcam will start and a new window appears.

Click on “Take picture” to take a picture. If you do not like the picture, you can start again as many times as you want. Then, you only need to choose the picture you like the most. When you have decided, click on “Back”. You will be redirected to the page where you can edit your personal information.

Adding or editing an address

To add or edit an address, you need to select the type of address (home or work) by checking the box on the left.

Then, fill in the fields. Please note that there are required fields marked with *.

The “Hide on website” option allows you to make your address available publicly in the Directory section. If you check “No”, your address will be displayed and others will be able to see it. If you check “Yes”, you will be the only one to see this information. Only the staff working at the club will be able to see it.

The “Set as mailing contact information” field is used to indicate which address you want to use as a preferred address to receive the mail sent by the club. You only need to check this option for the type of address you want to use.

When you have finished, you can click on “Confirm” to validate your choice.

Adding or editing a contact information

If you wish to add or edit a contact information (such as an email address or a phone number), check the box on the left.

As for addresses, you can limit the access to this information. In the “Hide on website” field, if you check “yes”, access will be restricted. It means that this information will not be available to the other members of the club. However, it remains available to the club's manager.

When you have made all the necessary changes, you can click on “Confirm” to save.

Checking your balance in Euros / Points

Some clubs use the notion of “account”. It can be compared to a bank account. With ExtraClub, you can add money to your balance or buy points if a system of of points or units has been implemented. This page allows you to check your balance.

Positive and negative balances

On the page shown above, you can see the balance.
There is a balance in euros and a balance in points/units (depending on the club). This is the available balance of money or points you have added to your account.
If you chose to pay monthly or to make multiple payments, you may have a negative balance.

If you see something wrong on your account, do not hesitate to contact your club to have more information and to, if need be, rectify the situation.

Downloading a file containing all my tickets

The function called “Download my tickets (.pdf)” allows you to get a PDF file containing all the receipts created by ExtraClub for each transaction. Thanks to this function, you can keep your records up-to-date and print your receipts again if you need it.

You just need to click on this red button if you need to start to generate the file. Once it is created, you will only need to click on the orange “Download” button. Your file opens up in a new tab on your browser. If the file does not open, you will probably need to download a software solution, such as Adobe Reader, allowing you to open PDF files.

Editing my password

To change your password, you only need to click on “Edit my password”, on the box you can see on the left of the screen. You will open a page similar to the one shown below:

You only need to fill in your new password in the first field, then to repeat it in the second field entitled “Confirmation”.
If you cannot change the password, verify that you are typing the exact same thing in both fields. Passwords are case sensitive. To choose a good password, use a combination that is easy to remember but hard to guess for somebody else. You can also combine numbers and special characters to increase the strength of your password.

Once your new password has been entered, click on Confirm.
